WHAT YOU CAN DO TO PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY
PFFCU members can protect their personal privacy by following these simple guidelines:
Protect your account numbers, card numbers, PINs (personal identification numbers) and passwords. Never keep your PIN with your debit or credit card! Doing so gives open access to your accounts if your card is lost or stolen.
Use caution when disclosing your account numbers and social security numbers to other persons. If someone calls you, claiming to be from the credit union and asking for your information, you should beware. Authorized credit union staff would already have access to your information and it would be unnecessary to call you to asking for it.
Keep your contact information current. It is important that we have current information on how to reach you. If we detect potentially fraudulent or unauthorized activity in an account, we will contact you immediately. So, if your phone number, or mailing address, or e-mail address changes, please let us know.
If you have any questions about this notice, or if we can help you in any way, please call PFFCU Member Services at 804-649-2957 or 800-321-5617.
